Job Summary:

Betopia Properties is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a sales team dedicated to successful sales of Betopia’s luxury residences and commercial properties and to craft and execute sales strategies according to the market demand. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong sales background in real estate with previous work experience in sales management. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Betopia’s sales strategies while working with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that strategies and practices are executed accurately and in a timely manner.

Under marketing, roles may include planning, budgeting and coordinating open houses or other initiatives to develop new leads and increase sales for the office. The Sales manager may occasionally attend association meetings to receive the latest information on housing regulations and legislation that affects the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Prepare buyers profiles, product and market information to enable product design during  the pre-development process.
  • Coordinate preparation of purchase and sale agreements, disclosure statements and budgets with the Project Management and Finance teams.
  •  Conduct regular competitive market analysis to ensure that the company is well- positioned against competitors.
  •  Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and key networks within the industry.
  • Oversee sales team coordination within and outside the Company.
  • Obtain regularly feedback from buyers and prospects via surveys, focus groups, and social events.
  • Ensure that the Betopia’s brand and staff are known and recognized for providing quality customer experience
  •  Develops and executes sales strategies and incentive programs to achieve goals.
  • Carries the sales presentation from inception to close.
  • Follows , and Communicates Company policies and guidelines to Sales team.
  •  Ensures that all required contract documents are current and accurately executed.
  • Contributes to development of pricing models and release strategies.
  • Works with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective sales tools.
  • Evaluates effectiveness and provides recommendations for Sales training programs.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to Management.
  •  Does other related tasks as assigned

  • · Strong written and verbal communication skills in both in Amharic and English languages
  • · Suitable professional business attire at all times.
  • · BA/MA in Sales/Marketing or related fields with suitable professional  experience of 5 years and above in real estate company as sales manager.
  • · Ability to work long and non‐conventional hours to achieve sales goals.
  • · Excellent sales expertise, including strong negotiating and closing skills.
  • · Detail oriented with ability to multi‐task and organized work activities.
  • · Analytical and disciplined in sales forecasting and reporting.
  • · Works to achieve high levels of personal and team performance.
  • ·  Experience motivating teams and individuals through goal‐setting.
  • · Proven leadership and team‐building skills in a high‐volume, fast‐paced environment.
  • · Demonstrates confidence and maturity in handling challenging situations.
  • · Communicates effectively with top managers, co‐workers, and clients/customers.
  • · Partners with co‐workers to meet stated business goals.
